Hall of Serenity and the Tower for Watching Waves in the Inner Garden are centres of attraction of these garden. The famous Exquisite Jade Rock, a 5-ton slab procured by the Huizong emperor of the Northern Song from the waters of Lake Tai represents mountain peaks in classical Chinese garden design. If you go during the Spring Festival, you’ll see lovely lanterns in the form of dragons and phoenixes all around the garden.
