He now earns a net profit of up to Rs. 75,000 per hectare annually from tomato cultivation alone. With a gross income of Rs. 84,000 per hectare and a cost of just Rs. 15,000 per acre, Prabhudayal proved that vegetable farming can be both efficient and profitable. He has been growing different kinds of vegetables on 11 acres of land, using all modern agricultural practices such as efficient irrigation, balanced fertilization, and better crop management, which have greatly improved his yields and profits.
