Ooty: Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin will inaugurate the 127th edition of the famous Ooty flower show on May 15 at the Government Botanical Garden in Ooty, and it is set to continue till May 25. This eye-catching event is being organized by the Department of Horticulture and Plantation Crops along with the Nilgiris district administration. This flower show is one of the most popular activities in the state; tourists eagerly wait for this dazzling event.
 

Usually, the show takes place for five days. However, this year it has been extended by the government from five days to ten days so that more and more tourists get a chance to enjoy this breathtaking show. The show is expected to give visitors an enjoyable time to witness beautiful flower arrangements that highlight the rich plant life and natural beauty of the Nilgiris.

He is also expected to visit Doddabetta, the highest peak in the Nilgiris, where he will meet with members of the tribal community to hear their concerns and check on local development work. The Chief Minister is scheduled to return to Chennai on May 17 after the closing of the flower show on May 25.

 

The Ooty Flower Show unveils the rich culture of Tamil Nadu’s natural heritage. This year it is likely that a huge number of people from across the country and overseas will set their feet to see the summer festival, which includes apart from flower show, fruit show, vegetable show, and rose show.
