This year, as always, Keukenhof has planted around 7 million flower bulbs, creating a magical landscape filled with tulips, daffodils, hyacinths, and many other floral varieties. The garden is only open for eight weeks during the spring, yet it attracts over a million visitors from around the world.
On sunny days, the walking paths, benches, and cafés of the garden are crowded with tourists taking selfies and enjoying the colorful atmosphere. Special selfie zones like pink velvet sofas, flower archways, and large wooden clogs have been arranged by the garden authorities to make the visit even more enjoyable for social media enthusiasts.
Daniel Magnus, a tourist from Austria, shared, “I saw the photos online, and I just had to come. Influencers give a new view of places and traditions. You want to be part of it and experience it yourself.”
Keukenhof is not just a garden—it's a celebration of Dutch culture and heritage. The wooden clogs, also known as klompen, are a classic Dutch symbol and are popular among visitors for taking pictures. The Netherlands tourism board is also assisting tourists with tips on how to take the best photos and enjoy the garden experience to the fullest.
