Nauni: Dr. YS Parmar University of Horticulture and Forestry (UHF), located in Nauni, Himachal Pradesh, has officially announced admissions for the academic session 2025-26. Those students who have interest and want to build their careers in horticulture, forestry, natural farming, biotechnology, food technology, or agribusiness can now apply online. The form is available on the university's official website: www.yspuniversity.ac.in.

The university offers various undergraduate programmes: BSc (Hons) Horticulture and BSc (Hons) Forestry. These are available at the main campus in Nauni as well as at the Colleges of Horticulture and Forestry (COH&F) in Neri and Thunag.

At the main campus, students can also apply for BSc (Hons) Agri-Natural Farming, B.Tech Food Technology (self-financing course), and B.Tech Biotechnology is offered at the COH&F in Neri.

The university also offers post-graduate courses through the College of Horticulture and College of Forestry at the main campus and at Neri. These courses are being run by the university: MSc in Horticulture with the specializations in: Entomology, Floriculture and Landscaping, Food Processing and Technology, Fruit Science, Molecular Biology and Biotechnology, Plant Pathology, Spices, Plantation, and Medicinal & Aromatic Crops, Post-Harvest Management, Seed Science and Technology, Vegetable Science

Students can also apply for Agri-Business Management. MSc in Forestry includes areas such as: Agricultural Economics, Agricultural Extension Education, Agricultural Statistics, Biochemistry, Environmental Science, Forest Biology and Tree Improvement, Forest Products and Utilisation, Forest Resource Management, Microbiology, Plant Physiology
