Mumbai: Mumbai’s Breach Candy Residents Forum (BCRF) is planning to revive the lost glory of Tata Garden. As a result of the Coastal Road Project, the Tata Garden in has lost its significance and space. Earlier, it was considered a green haven spread across 8,000 square meters, bordering the Arabian Sea. Currently, the garden has been divided into three parts; the largest section is about 3,300 square meters, and two smaller portions are 510 and 200 square meters, respectively.
On the occasion of World Environment Day, June 5, the BCRF planted 50 coconut tree seedlings to bring life to the garden. Despite the financial constraints, the residents of Breach Candy are confident that the Tata Garden will bloom again with care and support of the community.
