Shimla Summer Flower Festival spreads colours and fragrance

Numerous departments and organizations have participated actively in the show to present their own unique floral displays. Participants included the Shimla Amateur Garden and Environment Society, the Indian Institute of Advanced Study (IIAS), the Horticulture Department Shimla, the Central Public Works Department (CPWD), and the Army Heritage Museum located in Annandale. Besides this, many local nurseries have displayed their mysterious flowers in different designs.

During the show, various kinds of seasonal flowers, ornamental plants, and rare species of flora are being exhibited. The different colours and systematic arrangements of flowers transformed the Ridge Ground into just like a paradise for the nature lovers and gardening fanatics. Visitors are enjoying every bit of their time in the ongoing floral show, enjoying the mystic fragrance of flowers, taking selfies, and clicking photographs.
