Haryana farmer earns name, fame, and wealth through organic farming

In the beginning he had to face several hardships because the productivity was low and he got criticism from others. However, Sukhjeet didn’t lose heart and remained committed. Gradually the soil became healthier, and his fruits and vegetables became famous because of their unique taste.

Health-conscious consumers like to purchase his organic fruits and vegetables directly from him in bulk. He started sending his horticulture products to nearby cities such as the capital, Delhi, Chandigarh, and some towns in Punjab. He used social media platforms to remain connected with those consumers seeking natural, chemical-free produce.

With the success, his thinking became wider, and in 2018, he formed his own Farmer Producer Company—Sirsa Natural Farms Producer Company Limited. His next plan is to set up cold storage for fruits and vegetables, promote eco-friendly packaging, and establish a training center for young organic farmers.
