Ayodhya: The Uttar Pradesh government has been trying to transform Ayodhya, the city of temples, into a tourist hub. Therefore, a huge garden (Pushpa Vatika) is being developed in the city. Plantation work is in progress on 1.5 acres of land near the banks of the Sarayu River.

CM Yogi Adityanath planted seedlings in this garden on June 5, on the occasion of World Environment Day, to mark the beginning of the project. A Delhi-based company, Garden Glory of India has been assigned the project.

The garden is expected to complete before Diwali.
