Bengaluru: The production of daab (tender coconut) has increased rapidly across the country. Therefore, India occupies the number one position in coconut production. The yield of daab is bumper in some southern states. Karnataka recently surpassed Kerala and became the top producer of tender coconuts all over the country. These greenish coconuts have now become a common refreshing drink due to the medicinal values in them.
