New Delhi: Former Union Minister and Vice Chairman of Gandhi Smriti and Darshan Samiti (GSDS), Vijay Goel, inaugurated the art exhibition “Unmukt” on July 1 at Gandhi Darshan, Rajghat. The Van Kanya Arts Group organised the exhibition. Nalini Kamalini, noted Kathak dancer and Padmashri awardee, graced the occasion. Kamal Seth, Regional Manager (North, MP, and Gujarat) of Camlin, and Director (I/C) of GSDS Sanjeet Kumar, Indian Nurserymen Association General Secretary Mukul Tyagi, and others were also present on this occasion.

Vijay Goel also planted a Rudraksh tree at the venue along with the members of the Indian Nursery Association as part of the celebrations of the “Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam” campaign.

 

Dr. Gauri Srivastava curated the exhibition, organised by artist Sarbari Roychodhury. Unmukt highlighted the works of leading artists from Delhi, West Bengal, and Odisha. Some of the prominent artists who participated in this programme were Madhusudan Das, Tara Sharma, Rajni Kiran Jha, Rajesh Kumar Dedha, Ratna Manjari Samantaray, Subrat Dey, Dr. Barnali Biswas, Suparna Rakshit Ghosh, Rekha Yadav, Nisha Singhal, Arunava Karmakar, Dr. Asha Kumari, Rachna Bhati Baisla, Purnima Arora, Sandeep Chaudhary, Himesh Chauhan, Kirti Rathore and many others.
