Inger Andersen, Executive Chairperson of the UN Environment Programme, said, “I am disappointed...but this is how multilateral treaties work. History shows it takes years of negotiations to create strong agreements. For the first time, countries have clearly stated their ‘red lines’, which can help us move forward.”
