After unveiling the show, the CM shared on social media that he inaugurated the ‘Freedom Festival Flower and Fruit Exhibition’ and paid tribute to the great heroes.
The main feature of this year’s show is the striking floral replicas of Rani Chennamma’s memorial, Sangolli Rayanna on horseback, the Kittur Fort, and a vertical garden. Overall, Rs 3 crore has been spent in the organisation of the show, featuring artistic floral exhibitions by Indo-American Hybrid Seeds. Tickets for the show are Rs 80 for adults and 30 for children on weekdays. The weekends and holidays’ tickets are Rs 100 for adults. Entry for class 1 to 10 schoolchildren is free, but they have to present their in-school costume.
