INA and Sustainable Oasis Celebrate International Labour Day

Gurugram: The Indian Nurserymen Association (INA) and Sustainable Oasis jointly celebrated International Labour Day on Thursday at Sustainable Oasis, located next to Roots Café in the Park, Sector 29, Gurugram. The event took place from 5 to 7 PM and brought together a large number of dignitaries and people from different walks of life.

Several groups, including Camel, Van Kanya Art Group, and others, actively participated in the celebration. The gathering focused on the importance of International Labour Day, which honors the hard work and dedication of workers across all sectors. The day is a global recognition of works who play vital role in building and sustaining economies. A storytelling session by Kalyan Banerjee highlighted the history and spirit of May Day, sharing inspiring stories about workers and their contributions.

The Van Kanya Art Group, led by Director, Gauri Srivastava, held a Waste Art Exhibition on this occasion. Artists creatively transformed horticulture and plastic waste into art, promoting sustainability and recycling. The exhibition impressed visitors and emphasized the importance of eco-conscious practices through powerful, waste-based artworks. The exhibition was developed with the hard work and artistic vision of several talented artists, including Rajesh Kumar, Rohan, Anu Shri, Sandeep Chaudhary, Neelu Khanna, and others.

Dignitaries present included INA President Y.P. Singh, General Secretary Mukul Tyagi, Mukesh Sharma, Joint Secretary, Treasurer C. Gopinath, General Committee Member Ghalib Khan, INA UP Chapter President Rafique Khan, GC Member Ashok Yadav, and Member Mehar Alam Khan.

 

 

 

 

 

 

The event served as a platform to express gratitude to the working class and support the global labour movement, emphasizing the need for continued respect and fair treatment for all workers.
